AgentRank currently tracks AI-powered shopping search results, including Amazon’s generative shopping features and other LLM-based product discovery systems. Coverage expands continuously as new AI shopping surfaces emerge.
Simulations run on a recurring schedule after your initial setup. Your dashboard reflects results from the most recent run. Trend data accumulates over time as more runs complete.
No — your store domain alone is enough for AgentRank to discover topics and generate prompts during onboarding. Shopify integration is optional and can be added after your project is set up.
Competitors are detected automatically. Whenever AgentRank runs a prompt simulation, it records every brand mentioned in the AI’s response — not just yours. Any brand that appears in your tracked prompts becomes part of your competitor set. You don’t need to specify them manually.
AI assistants surface brands based on relevance to the specific query. Your brand might have strong visibility for broad purchase queries but be absent from narrow, feature-specific prompts. This is usually a relevance gap — your product data doesn’t clearly match that specific buyer intent. The Relevance score in the Analysis tab explains this in detail (Pro plan).
Product catalog and schema changes — metafields, JSON-LD, descriptions — typically take 1–2 weeks to reflect in AI results, as AI assistants need to re-index your updated content. Editorial coverage and authority signals take longer, usually several weeks after new reviews or articles are published.
Position refers to where your brand appears within an AI response. In carousel (product grid) responses, position 1 is the first card shown — clearly the most valuable spot. In research (long-form) responses, position is less binary — what matters more is whether you’re recommended at all and in what context. The Mode column in your prompt table tells you which type each query returns.
Visibility is absolute — it’s the percentage of your prompts where you appear. Share of Voice is relative — it’s your share of all brand appearances across those prompts, compared to competitors. Two brands can have the same Visibility but very different Share of Voice if one appears alongside many competitors on each query. See Visibility, Share of Voice & Rank for a detailed explanation.
