AgentRank automatically detects competing brands from tracked responses, but the Competitors page lets you turn that raw detection into a cleaner benchmark set.

What this page is for

Use the Competitors page to:
  • review suggested competitors discovered from tracked responses
  • accept or dismiss stores you care about
  • add a competitor manually
  • edit tracked names, aliases, colors, and domains
  • keep your comparison set focused on real alternatives

Suggested competitors vs active competitors

AgentRank may detect many brands across a prompt set. Not all of them are useful benchmarks. That is why this page distinguishes between:
  • Suggestions: brands the system has seen and thinks may matter
  • Active stores: the focused set you want to benchmark against directly
Curating this list keeps downstream comparison cleaner, especially in Analysis.

What to track for each competitor

For each active competitor, AgentRank can store:
  • Display name
  • Tracked name
  • Domain
  • Aliases
  • Color
Aliases matter when a competitor appears under multiple names or abbreviations in tracked results.

Metrics you use later

Once a competitor is active, AgentRank uses that set in the rest of the product:
  • Overview shows how they compare on the current prompt set.
  • Sources helps you see where their citation footprint is stronger.
  • Analysis explains why they outrank you.
  • Actions can generate fixes linked to specific competitive gaps.
Keep the active list tight. A short list of true head-to-head competitors is much more useful than tracking every brand that appears once.
